Turkish kaleidoscope weaves together stories of four students and their friends in 1970s Turkey, tracing their life-altering decisions as the country descends into violence. Social anthropologist Jenny White’s experience of this turbulent time combines with the artwork of Ergün Gündüz to create a deeply felt and historically anchored narrative of fractured love, allegiances and violence. These portraits also reflect on the paths to radicalism and the widespread political impasses that haunt us today.
